I Love Myself I Loath Myself is a collaborative album created in partnership with Sexual Compulsives Anonymous to raise awareness of pornography addiction and the effects it can bring. I chose this subject matter as it is an issue that is very close to me and has affected those close to me.

I showed the viewer how dull sexual activities can become when repeated continuously by creating a phallic shape out of uncolored clay, maintaining a monochromatic color palette. The structure wasn't entirely clay, the base of it was an old carton of oats, with multiple strips of clay wrapped around it to give the layered appearance in the final composition.

After the base structure was complete, I had to get the type into the clay. I wanted half of the title to be extruded, and the other half to be inset. I did this by 3D printing two stamps to press into the clay. After this, I then added a splash of color by drizzling marbled paint onto the structure. The minimal amount of color used in the composition represents the decreasing amount of pleasure ultimately gained in sexual activities to someone who is addicted.

Once the 3D sculpting process was done, I then photographed it to create the composition, using photoshop and Womp to create any edits needed. Womp was also used to create any finer text that was too intricate or long to create a stamp of, while still maintaining the clay look. This was done in areas such as the subheader of the album and the tracklist on the back. This was an incredibly fulfilling project that I’m very proud of and was invested in all the way through due to its personal nature to me, and I couldn't be happier with the final result.
