Plantarium is a Figma/Spline prototype of a build-your-own terrarium Website, assisting users in plant identification and care. This project emphasized to me the importance of UX in the planning process, assuring that the website can be used and understood by as many people as possible. This was done through the process of multiple drafts of wire frames and user testing.
I believe the user testing was especially important to this project and greatly shaped the final product, as it gave me valuable insight on how someone with no prior experience with this specific website would act, allowing me to fix the issue as early as possible. For instance, in an earlier version of this prototype, the "Guides" tab was instead named "Learn." When testers were prompted to research more about a specific plant, instead of going to the index they would go to the learn page.
